I recently ordered the Atomic Groove Package for my album “Tales of the Famously Unknown” by Gritty Flyright and not only did the vinyl arrive within the predicted time frame, but it also looks and sounds incredible! Truly appreciate the staff at Atomic Disc and their commitment to detail as they continue to support Independent Artists.
Atomic Disc is one of the greatest company’s to work with! This is my 3rd order through them and it’s great! The customer service is fantastic and the turnaround time is even better. I got 100 records in 6 weeks! Will definitely be a customer for life!
Customer service was amazing. My albums sounded awesome and the packaging looked phenomenal. Shipped and arrived way quicker than expected. Overall completely fantastic order fulfillment. Thank you, Atomic Disc!!!
Your package includes 180g heavyweight vinyl pressed in Oregon, full-color printed center labels, full-color jackets with or without a spine, inner sleeves, and protective bags. Lacquer cutting, plating, stampers, digital audio proofs, and PDF artwork proofs are included. A free barcode is available upon request. Printed inserts and physical test pressings are optional extras.
The main difference is the outer packaging. The Vinyl Jacket Package features a traditional glued jacket, with or without a spine. The Atomic Vinyl Pack™ features wraparound packaging with a printed spine and 50% more printable surface than a standard jacket. Both packages feature 180g vinyl pressed in Oregon and offer optional printed inserts.
Yes! Choose a jacket with a spine if you’d like your artist name and album title visible when the record is on a shelf. Jackets without a spine offer a slimmer profile. Use the artwork template for your selected jacket style when preparing your design.
Our Vinyl Jacket Package starts at $1,298 for 100 records in full-color jackets without a spine—that’s $12.98 per record before shipping or optional upgrades.
Vinyl is an investment in your music career and a way to earn more from each release. Sell 100 records at $25 each and you’ll generate $2,500 in sales—$1,202 above your starting production cost, with room for shipping expenses while still earning a healthy profit. Plus, you’re giving fans a collectible they can enjoy for years.
When you exceed around 20 minutes per side, volume needs to come down, noise level tends to go up, and bass frequencies might need to be cut.
If your album is under 15 min per side we recommend manufacturing at 45 rpm for maximum sound quality.
We strongly recommend mastering specifically for vinyl. Because vinyl has unique physical limitations, a dedicated vinyl master helps ensure your music is optimized for the format.
Our mastering engineers will sequence your tracks, adjust overall levels, optimize bass, stereo imaging, and high frequencies, to minimize playback issues and maintain consistent sound quality from the first track to the last. The result is a record that sounds its best on a wide range of turntables and lets your pressing live up to its full potential.
The minimum order is 100 records. Select your quantity and options on this page to see pricing for your release.
Current production time is approximately 4–6 weeks after artwork approval. Physical test pressings require additional time for production, shipping, and your approval. Shipping time for your finished order is additional.
If you have a release show, tour, or other deadline, contact us before ordering so we can discuss your schedule.
You can see the available vinyl colors in the ordering options on this page. For a wider range of colors and special effects, explore our Custom Vinyl Pressing options.
Yes! Add a full-color 2-panel or 4-panel printed insert for lyrics, credits, photos, liner notes, or additional artwork. 2-panel inserts are printed on 16pt C2S. 4-panel inserts are printed on 100# text.
Download the matching template before preparing your files.
A test pressing is a physical sample that lets you listen to your album on vinyl before approving the full production run. It gives you an opportunity to review playback and identify concerns before the remaining records are pressed.
Digital audio proofs are included with your package, and physical test pressings are optional. A digital proof does not let you evaluate physical vinyl playback, so test pressings provide an additional review step.
Use the templates for your selected jacket, center labels, and any printed inserts. Keep important text within the safe areas and extend background artwork through the bleed areas shown on each template.
Prepare your final audio in the intended track order, with the division between Side A and Side B clearly identified. You can place your order first and upload your files later using the instructions provided after ordering. We’ll send digital audio and PDF artwork proofs for your approval.
